We're Hiring a Children and Families Officer

Leading your Church into Growth is delighted to be partnering with the Church of England through 2025 - 2027 to ‘Step-up and Scale-up’ our national involvement. This new partnership, supported by generous funding, will enable us to help lead more churches than ever before into growth.

Following the appointment of Sue Cooke as the National Director of LyCiG, we are now looking for an exceptional individual to serve as our Children and Families Officer: someone who can help steer LyCiG through this exciting new chapter of our story as we become a bigger, more robust movement, while still remaining true to the core values that have already helped so many parishes to grow and flourish. There are two key aspects to the role:

1. Increase and enhance the children’s and family work content of the existing LYCIG courses.
2. Develop, pilot and launch a new ‘Leading your Children’s and Family Work into Growth’ course.

This role has received People and Partnership Funding from the Vision and Strategy team of the Archbishop’s Council, which aims to equip the Church of England to grow younger and see the number of young people engaged with the life of the Church double in the next decade.

We welcome applications from lay and ordained candidates and can offer a competitive remuneration package.
